The reason behind this is that every year on the occasion of Ram Navami, Lord Krishna is given the form of Lord Rama for one day. Thousands of devotees gather on this occasion and people chant Lord Rama.

Every year the festival of Ram Navami is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. According to the scriptures, Lord Shri Ram was born on the Navami day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. That's why this day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram. On this day, Lord Rama is worshipped according to the rules and regulations, and drums are also played.
