Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia's wife is unwell and the court has granted him interim bail to meet her. During this, he can stay at his house from 10 am to 5 pm.
New Delhi: Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia has reached his home. The court has sent him out of jail from 10 am to 5 pm to meet his ailing wife. However, his wife's health suddenly deteriorated, after which she was admitted to LNJP Hospital.
While granting interim bail to Manish Sisodia, the court has placed a condition that he will not talk to the media during this period. Apart from the family, he will not speak to anyone or use mobile and the internet.
Significantly, Manish Sisodia appeared in court on Thursday in the Excise Policy case. Due to the crowd during the hearing, the court expressed its displeasure and said that if there is a need to ban the media, then it will also be considered. In custody, Sisodia will be allowed to meet only family members and lawyers. They are not allowed to meet any outsiders.
The next hearing will be on July 19
Manish Sisodia's next hearing in the ED case will be on July 19. The court made it clear that till the decision is not taken on the application filed by Manish Sisodia regarding his appearance through video conferencing.
Till then the production will be done through video conferencing only. There will be no personal appearance in the court. Please tell that Manish Sisodia has been made an accused in the Delhi liquor scam case. In this case, he is being produced in court on the coming days. On the other hand, due to the ill health of Aam Aadmi Party leader Satyendar Jain, the court granted him bail.
