New Delhi: Controversy started over the Holi Milan ceremony at Delhi's Jamia Millia Islamia University. Here some students raised religious slogans by stopping the Holi Milan function. In the videos that are coming out from Jamia University, some people are raising slogans of Allah-ho-Akbar and Nara-e-Takbeer while opposing the Holi Milan celebrations. Please tell that the matter is of March 1. The video of this case is becoming quite viral on social media. Students allege that there are some people in Jamia who often try to spoil the atmosphere against whom action should be taken.
Disturbance in Holi Milan ceremony
Actually the case is of Gate No. 13 of Jamia Millia Islamia University. Holi Milan ceremony was organized here in the open theater behind Ansari Auditorium. In which students and teachers of Jamia University were also included. This program of Holi Milan ceremony was kept from 2 pm to 4 pm. A letter was also written to the Proctor for this program by Yuva, the student organization of Jamia. When the Holi Milan ceremony was going on in the open theatre, some students came there and started opposing the Holi Milan ceremony. Meanwhile, provocative slogans of Allah-ho-Akbar and Nara-e-Takbir were raised by some students. In the viral video on social media, students are also seen using abusive words against the proctor of Jamia.
Provocative slogans raised
The students present at the Holi Milan ceremony said that usually all programs in Jamia are held near Gate No. 7 or 8, but in order not to hurt anyone's sentiments, the Holi Milan program was organized in an open lawn garden at the very end of the Jamia campus. No loudspeaker was also used in this program, but in spite of this some students shouted religious slogans and tried to spoil the atmosphere of Jamia campus. Surprisingly, the professor, dean were also involved in the Holi Milan ceremony. Jamia Administration says that the matter is being investigated.
