New Delhi: India is fast becoming the startup capital of the world. Startups are being created in the country at the fastest pace as compared to other countries of the world. Many of these successful startups have also managed to touch the level of Unicorns.
Union minister Jitendra Singh on Saturday said the number of startups in the country has grown 300 times in the last nine years under the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) spoke at the two-day 'Young Start-up Conclave' that began in Singh's home constituency Udhampur.
Startups increased from 350 to 90 thousand
