New Delhi: Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Saxena has taken a tough stand on the allegations made by CM Kejriwal regarding electricity subsidy. The Lieutenant Governor has written a letter to CM Kejriwal saying that for the last few days, the kind allegations being levelled by the power minister of the government regarding electricity subsidies are baseless.
If the government has any evidence of the LG stopping power subsidy, then show it. If this does not happen and evidence is not shown, then it will be assumed that these statements were being made just under dirty politics and legal action will also be taken against it.
What did Energy Minister Atishi say?
In fact, Delhi's Energy Minister Atishi had alleged that the Lieutenant Governor had not returned the file regarding the cabinet decision related to electricity subsidy. Atishi had also said that she was not even given an appointment to meet the Lieutenant Governor. However, later the Lieutenant Governor's office said that Atishi had given this wrong information.
In the past too, the CM has been at loggerheads with the Lieutenant Governor
Earlier, a statement from the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi was in the news a lot. He said that some people remain uneducated even after getting an IIT degree, whereas degrees are just a receipt for the expenses of education. Significantly, Kejriwal has studied at IIT.
