New Delhi: Varanasi is creating new dimensions of development these days. Kashi is now going to get a new gift. The country's first rope-way transport will be built here. Through this ropeway, your journey from Varanasi Junction Railway Station to Gaudaulia (Kashi Vishwanath Dham) will be smooth and easy. A total of Rs 461 crore will be spent to build this ropeway. Let us inform you that its foundation was laid at the Global Investors Summit held in Lucknow on February 10-12. The journey from Cantt to Godaulia through ropeway will be just 15 minutes.

The biggest advantage of the ropeway would be that along with saving your money, you would also get rid of traffic snarls. Please inform that the distance from Cantt to Godaulia is about 5 kms. In this case, it takes 45 minutes to reach Gaudalia by auto or e-rickshaw. But after the ropeway is ready, its distance will be reduced to 3.8 km and your time will also be saved a lot. The work of this ropeway will start from the month of May this year. The design of ropeway transport has been prepared. Along with this, the route, pillar and blue print has been prepared, which will now pass over all the vehicles instead of through the roads of Kashi. This ropeway will be equipped with many facilities. The ropeway will have 220 cable cars. Along with this, 4500 passengers will be able to travel in up and down at one go. Its total 5 stations will be built. Which will include Sigra, Saajan Cinema, Rath Yatra, Godaulia and Varanasi Cantt.
