CM Yogi's first reaction to the encounter of Mafia Atiq's sons son, Ashad

CM Yogi appreciated UP STF along with DGP, Special DG Law & Order and the entire team. The Chief Minister's Office said that Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad informed the Chief Minister about the encounter.

New Delhi: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reacted to the encounter of absconding mafia Atiq Ahmed's son Asad and shooter Ghulam in the Umesh Pal murder case. He has called a big meeting regarding law and order. During this he praised the officers. CM Yogi appreciated UP STF along with DGP, Special DG Law & Order and the entire team. The Chief Minister's Office said that Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad informed the Chief Minister about the encounter. A report was placed before the CM on this entire matter.


'He who commits crime will not survive'

On the encounter of the most wanted criminal Asad in the Umesh Pal murder case, UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said, "Congratulations to the UP STF, the killers of Umesh Pal Advocate and the police personnel had the same fate." He said, "I congratulate the STF team. The one who commits crime will not survive, he will be hanged and if he confronts the police, the police will have to retaliate. This is a very historic action and a huge message that the era of criminals is over."


Encounter in Jhansi

Significantly, on February 24, Umesh Pal, the main witness in the murder case of BSP MLA Raju Pal, and his two security guards were shot dead in Dhumanganj area of Prayagraj. Asad was leading this massacre. The police was searching for him for the last one and a half months, but he was absconding while dodging the police. Today, finally the police got a clue about his presence in Jhansi and the STF team did an encounter with him. According to the information, foreign state-of-the-art weapons have also been recovered by the police from the slain Asad and Ghulam.
